(Submitted by Sam) Ladies and Gentlemen.. Vance when he was 14. Taken from my guest book b/c I lost all of Sam's other mails. [sorry Sam] we sat next to each other in the McMain Junior High concert band. we both played the clarinet. I have a picture of the band showing a 14 year old Vance if you are interested. his first band was called Tricycle. I kept track of him on and off up until "the cold" got really popular. I worked the door at one of their concerts when they were called "totally cold". This picture is from the 1968-1969 school year.
